I had already experienced street hypnosis and was impressed by the effectiveness of suggestion on our bodies. In January 2018, I could no longer stand my body. I had always been overweight, with a pause during my growth period, but I had reached a worrying stage. I weighed 96 kg, and seeing the 100 approaching was the trigger that pushed me to seek help. As a result, weight loss was easy; I didn’t need to deprive myself, as I no longer wanted to. The nutritional education I received in my childhood was not healthy (sodas replaced water at every meal, saucy dishes, and childhood habits with numerous slices of a well-known spread). It was necessary for me to take control of the food pyramid and understand what balanced nutrition really meant. This was not the first time I had made this effort to improve my diet, but the snacking and cravings for sugar as band-aids for internal wounds were always present and difficult to overcome.
A Radical Transformation
For the first time, after the hypnosis sessions, these cravings disappeared, and I was finally able to move forward in my journey toward better health.
My assessment? I lost 30 kg between January 2018 and July 2018. It happened very naturally without deprivation. Being a naturally indulgent person, I do not hesitate to treat myself occasionally. But now I can choose where, what, when, and I no longer feel obliged to eat sugar or any other unhealthy snacks. This newfound freedom in my choices has changed my relationship with food entirely.
Now, I fluctuate between 65 and 70 kg. I have regained quite a bit of confidence in myself, even though I am still working on it and learning to maintain my new lifestyle . It’s a continuous journey of self-improvement that I embrace with enthusiasm.
A Defining Moment
I remember a striking event after the second session. I was hungry, and all I had at my disposal was a gas station. We all know the products at gas stations: chocolate bars, croissants, and other tempting treats. Yet, I went straight to the small section with fruits to grab an apple. This scene was significant, and it was at that moment that I truly realized the change I had undergone. It was a powerful affirmation of my progress and commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
This journey has taught me so much about myself and my relationship with food. I have learned to appreciate the nourishment that healthy foods provide, and I feel empowered in my choices. I am excited to continue this path and inspire others who may be struggling with similar challenges. Together, we can achieve our goals and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
